John Njara is a Kenyan former Thika United football club academy graduate, Bidco Fc, Gatundu stars Fc, Dubai Fc, Foodfund Fc Dubai , Al Nisr Fc Dubai and Al Matiya Fc Dubai. He is currently the Customer Experience Executive at Hermes Paris in Dubai. As a former football player, he is passionate about the wellbeing, self-image, confidence, and equality of young people, mostly girls affected by FGM in the rural parts of Kenya and has delivered multiple keynote speeches on the topic.

John Njara developed a strong sense of devotion for the nonprofit sector as a beneficiary of an informal youth development program back in 2020 in Dubai. This experience gave him a deep appreciation for how nonprofits seek to improve the quality of life for the most affected youths.

At the end of the day, my job involves people. We’re complicated, we’re always changing, we have millions of things going on in our lives, and changing jobs is ALWAYS a big decision. I’m working to build Ggee Foundation with some really amazing people, and I want to make sure it’s right for the needy people.

That, to me, means transparency, it means being an advocate for the less fortunate to get what they need the most.
